David Martin
/ DAVID MARTIN
David is a Director and owner of MARSON, with 24 years’ experience in the construction industry and 17 years’ post graduate experience as a Consulting Engineer.
He is a graduate of the Technological University of Dublin and has a master’s degree from DCU and a Chartered Mechanical Engineer. David is a Chartered member of Engineers Ireland.
In his career to date, David has worked on and led a wide range of projects across Ireland and the UK.
David brings a wealth of experience leading teams to deliver, technical critical infrastructure, cost effective, sustainable and well-coordinated building services solutions for his clients.
His management and technical experience ranges across all stages of the design process from developing the client brief through to the detailed design of complex systems, extending beyond design, through to site supervision of installations, commissioning and post occupancy monitoring and evaluation.
He has a wide spectrum of Healthcare design experience, particularly on Acute Hospitals sites across Ireland and the UK. His expertise has been applied to master planning projects, high level technical advisory services to full hospital design and construction.
David has a passion for multi-disciplinary integrated project delivery and has the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to constantly deliver on his clients’ needs.
Stephen Robinson
/ STEPHEN ROBINSON
Stephen is a Director and owner of MARSON, with over 20 years experience in the construction industry.
He is a Chartered member of Engineers Ireland and of the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers.
Stephen began his career as an electrician. He then graduated with a Degree in Electrical Services Engineering and a Masters in Energy and Sustainable Buidling Design to follow a career in Engineering.
Stephen maintains his links with education as a Lecturer in the Technological University of Dublin. He teaches part time on the Electrical Services Engineering Degree.
His knowledge in the industry enables him to use his practical and technical capability to design complex projects and cost-effective solutions to meet the client’s requirements.
His engineering experience and management skills extend to all stages of the design process, from the project concept and development of the client brief through to detailed design and co-ordination, site supervision and commissioning.
Stephen has considerable experience in the design of Acute hospitals and has worked on major projects in Ireland and the UK.
Energy efficiency is always at the forefront of his designs while also creating a healthy environment for building occupants. Stephen has a Masters in Energy and Sustainable Building Design.
