MARSON and Jones Engineering Group have been working with Veolia Ireland on the St James's Hospital Dublin Energy Performance Project.

The details:

This complex and challenging project is now handed over after an 18-month collaboration.

The project included:

  • The installation of a new 3 number 2.5MW dual fuel LPHW Boilers.
  • Replacement of the Operating Theatre Air Handling Units (x12).
  • The installation of a district heating network.
  • Replacement of all steam heat exchangers with LPHW heat exchangers.
  • A 2MW Combined heat and power plant.
  • A new 400V / 10kV Transformer.
  • The full refurbishment of 4 satellite boiler plantrooms.
